Pig Roast

Boy Scout Pig Roast on February 14

Boy Scout Troop 455 is hosting its sixteenth annual pig roast at the Johnsburg Community Club on Sunday, February 14 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This event grows in popularity every year. The complete meal includes generous serving of succulent, slow roasted pork, vegetables, salad, dessert and beverage. Reviews are two thumbs (cloven hooves) up. Advance ticket purchases are encouraged. Adult tickets are $11 and children (ages 4-10) are $6

In recent years Troop 455 has grown to more than 60 Scouts. The aim of Scouting is to foster growth in moral strength and character, participating in citizenship, and development of the physical mental and emotional fitness. Scouting builds character and future leaders. Benefits derived from the pig roast are used to supply new equipment for the growing troop. All are invited to attend this 16th annual event.
