Joyful Harvest Church

We are located at 2502 Spring Ridge Drive, Suite B in Spring Grove, Illinois - serving Fox Lake, Johnsburg, McHenry, Spring Grove and surrounding communities. Our volunteers distribute food to needy individuals and families on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. We serve over 100 needy clients a week by providing them with canned goods, bread and meat which we purchase through the Northern Illinois Food Bank or obtain through donations.

The food pantry is a ministry of Joyful Harvest, All Saints Lutheran Church of Fox Lake and CrossPoint Church of Ingleside. Along with our co-sponsoring churches, we provide funding, volunteers and solicit donations to support the pantry. Every third month we are responsible for staffing the pantry, requiring a minimum of 6 people to operate each Tuesday and Thursday.

No special skills are needed and we need people to do paper work, distribution, packing of boxes and carrying out of boxes. Youth above the age of 12 can assist in the carrying out of boxes to obtain service hours for confirmation or scouting.
